Oklahoma Christian University is a four-year, private coed comprehensive university emphasizing spiritual growth and career preparation. The university offers degree programs in three colleges: the College of Biblical Studies, the College of Arts & Sciences, and the College of Professional Studies. Below are listed the departments and programs within these colleges. Cascade College is Oklahoma Christian University's branch campus in Portland, Oregon.
The Bridge Program provides students with the support necessary to succeed at the college level. Students with lower ACT or SAT scores will receive extra help in academic areas and support and instruction in the development of good life habits.
These programs include: biblical studies, business administration, teacher education, physical education, art & design, psychology, communication, music, language and literature, mechanical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, computer science, and mathematics, biology, chemisty and physics, among others. Also offered is a Master of Divinity degree and a Master of Arts in Ministry degree, with tracks in general ministry, family life ministry, and youth ministry. Oklahoma Christian also offers a Master of Business Administration program that allows students to earn their MBA degree in just one year, going to class two nights per week.
Faculty Facts
Kay Elder is a Certified Nurse Educator. She is interested in test anxiety reduction, end of life care, and family support for Alzheimer's disease.
