Academics
Oklahoma Christian University is a four-year, private coed comprehensive university emphasizing spiritual growth and career preparation. The university offers degree programs in three colleges: the College of Biblical Studies, the College of Arts & Sciences, and the College of Professional Studies. Below are listed the departments and programs within these colleges.
The Bridge Program provides students with the support necessary to succeed at the college level. Students with lower ACT or SAT scores will receive extra help in academic areas and support and instruction in the development of good life habits.
These programs include: biblical studies, business administration, teacher education, physical education, art & design, psychology, communication, music, language and literature, mechanical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, computer science, and mathematics, biology, chemisty and physics, among others. Also offered is a Master of Divinity degree and a Master of Arts in Ministry degree, with tracks in general ministry, family life ministry, and youth ministry. Oklahoma Christian also offers a Master of Business Administration program that allows students to earn their MBA degree in just one year, going to class two nights per week.
Faculty Facts
Cosmology and creation is what interests Dr. Len Feuerhelm, Professor of Science, who has been at OC for 31 years. He chairs the Department of Chemistry and Physics. He works at OC so he can "help shape the lives of young people." Over his 31 years, his favorite memory is the PacRim tour of 2005.
