President John deSteiguer
The hoops shooting, approachable, prayer warrior is all about serious business, but doesn’t take himself too seriously. When clever engineering students pulled off a prank to hoist a treadmill onto a rooftop, deSteiguer went for a high altitude run. The university leader is easy-going, quick to smile and listens intently. Peanut M&M’s always fill his office candy dish with a box of tissues nearby so he can celebrate or empathize whenever needed.
You are wanted at OC, even after you have graduated! Keep up with your classmates and friends on social media, at campus events and through alumni travel opportunities. You, our alumni, inspire the Alumni Office to consistently plan unique activities for you and your OC friends to participate in, and they love getting to see you again! As Alan Phillips says, “Around campus, we like to say that ‘OC is home,’ and we hope you’ll come back as often as you can.”

Central Christian College opened for students in 1950 at Bartlesville. Beginning with 97 students and a campus of three buildings was hardly auspicious, but it was a start.
From those seeds has grown the Oklahoma Christian University of today, with more than 2,200 students on its 200-acre campus in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
We build Christian faith by supporting local churches with leadership seminars, teaching resources, fellowship events and traveling performance groups.Church Resources
