Bible
Engage with the Bible and learn how to make it a part of YOUR STORY. Our rigorous academic programs will equip you to explore the depths of theology, biblical studies, and church history, as well as discover the practical aspects of living out your faith in our modern culture. You will gain significant insight into the importance of Christianity and discipling Christ-followers. Our College of Biblical Studies will transform and empower you to become an effective servant of God.
The College of Bible at Oklahoma Christian sits literally and figurative at the forefront of the university. We serve the university in three primary ways:
OC’s Bible degree develops ministry focused and academically informed students. Successful completion of a Bible degree from Oklahoma Christian equips students to serve multiple ministry roles in churches, as well as non-profit organizations. Students will also be well prepared to continue biblical and theological training on a graduate level.
General Education
Our general education program is designed to help every student understand the Christian worldview as revealed through Jesus Christ and His word. Students are challenged to view their personal and professional lives through the lens of God’s Kingdom and the important role He invites them to serve.
Vocational Ministry and Missions Second Majors
Our Vocational Ministry and Missions programs provide students opportunities to supplement their primary degrees with a second major. Through combining general education requirements with a few additional Bible and ministry courses, students are equipped to serve various ministry contexts including churches and other non-profit organizations.
