Premarital Counseling
If you are engaged and thinking about the future of your relationship, premarital counseling can help work through common issues in this relationship stage such as communication problems, boundaries with family and friends, roles and responsibilities. Premarital counseling will also help build on strengths in your relationship and identify possible trouble spots.
At the Family Therapy Clinic, providers use the Prepare/Enrich assessment for premarital counseling and tailor each session using your assessment results. Premarital counseling usually consists of 6 sessions and each session costs $25 and Prepare/Enrich assessment costs $35. Providers can provide a letter for proof of completion for discount of marriage license.
