Dr. Paula Hutton started her work at Oklahoma Christian in 1988, as an adjunct in the Music Department. Since becoming a full-time member of the music faculty, Dr. Hutton's main focus has been to teach private piano, as well as all four levels of class piano, assisting music majors in passing the Piano Proficiency Exam, a test all music majors must pass in order to graduate. Other classes Dr. Hutton has taught include Music Theory I & II, Ear Training I & II, Music History I, II, & III, and Fine Arts.
After retiring in 2020, Dr. Hutton has continued as an adjunct, teaching private piano and class piano courses.
