Luis Lopez

Lopez graduated from Oklahoma Christian in 2017 with a Sports, Wellness, and Recreation Management degree. He is a former Eagle basketball player playing under legendary coach Dan Hays. After graduating, Lopez moved to Denton, TX where he was a Graduate Assistant for the University of North Texas Men’s basketball team. The Mean Green captured the College Basketball Invitational championship during Lopez’s time there. He earned his Master’s degree in Recreation, Event, and Sport Management at North Texas in May 2019. He returned to OC as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach during the summer of 2019 before taking on the role of Major Gifts Officer in June 2021.

Lopez met his fiancé, Olivia, here at OC. In his free time, he enjoys running marathons, playing golf, and a good cup of black coffee.
