Kevin Plumlee M.S., Ph.D.

Associate Professor & Department Chair of Mechanical Engineering

Dr. Kevin Plumlee is an OC graduate from 2005. He is proud to return home to OC, where he teaches courses on Material Science. His professional interests include modern materials, bio-engineering and polymer tribology.

Additionally, Kevin fills the role of freshman advisor for mechanical engineering students, sponsors the social service club Kappa Sigma Tau, and serves on the board for the Francis Tuttle Pre-Engineering Academy.

Kevin attends the Edmond Church of Christ, and helps to lead small groups at a local Celebrate Recovery meeting. He and his wife, Kristi, have two dogs, all of whom frequently make appearances walking the trails around campus.
