Jeremy Poole B.S.E.E., M.S.E.E.

Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering

Jeremy Poole joins the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty as the first to have also graduated from the Oklahoma Christian Electrical Engineering program. One of the primary reasons Jeremy has returned to Oklahoma Christian was his experience as an undergraduate. “When I went through the Electrical Engineering program at Oklahoma Christian, one of the things that was so evident to me was how much the faculty and staff cared for me as a student and wanted to see me succeed. Looking back, I now realize how intentional it was that my professors went out of the way to help me grow not only academically, but also spiritually and personally. As I join Oklahoma Christian as a faculty member, I cannot think of anything more rewarding than to pay a little forward from what I have received here and help students develop the skills they need to successfully enter the industry and remain faithful to Christ.”

After graduating from Oklahoma Christian University, Jeremy received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and then went to work for Synopsys. While at Synopsys, Jeremy started as an Applications Engineer where his primary role was assisting automotive and aerospace customers in designing, simulating, and testing mechatronic systems electronically. Eventually, Jeremy moved into Software Engineering management and saw the successful launch of several new software products. Shortly after joining Synopsys, Jeremy married Jeanese. Both Jeremy and Jeanese grew up in Oregon and enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, and camping. They also enjoy time with their three children who keep them busy with sports and other school related activities.
