Dr. Chris Austin is an OC Alum who received his PHD in Physics with a research emphasis on Physics Education. Dr. Austin has presented at the Transformative Learning Conference in 2013 and 2014, as well as published in the "Journal of Transformative Learning" in 2013 and 2014. Dr. Austin has an interest in science education, and has helped edit the state certification exam for Physics. Dr. Austin participated in the Outstanding Professor Academy for Educators' Leadership Academy in 2013-2014, and served as a mentor for the Academy in 2014-2015.
