Dr. Andrea Ashley is one of the newest faculty members in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. She joined Oklahoma Christian to not only help the students develop their engineering expertise but also help them grow spiritually. Before joining the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty, Andrea received her Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her primary research interests were RF co-designed non-reciprocal filters for defense and aerospace applications. Before completing her Ph.D., she spent 6 years working for U.S. government as a weapons signals analyst, analyzing and characterizing RF signals from foreign weapon systems. Dr. Ashley received her B.S. from Kettering University in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Andrea enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, playing board games or doing puzzles, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
