Wes McKinzie M.A.

In his career, Wes has rubbed shoulders with pro sports icons, national broadcasters, and college coaching legends. He now lives out his calling to teach and mentor students who will be tomorrow’s leaders in sports business.

Wes worked in sports media roles at The Oklahoman and KWTV, then became Director of Communications for the Arena Football League’s Oklahoma Wranglers. He was named AFL Media Director of the Year and helped with ABC’s national telecast of the ArenaBowl before taking a job in the league office. He’s had a variety of roles at OC, including Director of Athletic Marketing and Director of Communications Marketing.

Wes also sings bass for the Christian Music Hall of Fame group Acappella. He and his wife of 26 years, Delisa, have two children: Mikayla and Schad. They attend The Springs Church of Christ.
