Meet Ike

Ike the Eagle was born in 1952 and has since supported our OC Eagles in all of their athletic achievement. Two years after the school’s founding, Isaiah 40:31 inspired OC’s mascot, Ike the Eagle. “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Ike inspires athletes, entertains the fans at basketball games, stars in some cool campus swag and makes unexpected appearances when you least expect him.

Homecoming

Eagles return to The Nest the first weekend of each November to celebrate Homecoming.

Students and alumni celebrate with a parade, tip off the basketball season and enjoy the annual Homecoming musical. The weekend is filled with multiple reunions, family activities, an art show and celebrations of the accomplishments of our alumni.

Eagle Spotlight

As a student athlete, I was able gain independence in college that I never expected! As a finance major, I wanted to learn more about the financial aspects of being a pro golfer as my potential career. I couldn't find that information so, now I'm working my way up the pro circuit, and I blog about my training, expenses and income to help others.
