OC Grad's Movie Wins Top Honors at Film Festival
A movie directed by OC graduate Kyle Roberts (07) won the award for “Best Oklahoma Film” at the deadCENTER Film Festival in June.
“The Posthuman Project” is about a group of high school friends who receive a genetic boost that gives them superhero abilities. Roberts calls the movie a cross between “The Breakfast Club” and “X-Men.”
Lucas Ross (03) had a role in the film, and Sandra Peck (14) and OC student Dani Hebert worked as production assistants.
“The Posthuman Project” also showed at Comic-Con, an international film festival.
