OC enrollment rises to record high
Oklahoma Christian’s fall enrollment of 2,600 students was an all-time school record. OC also surpassed last year’s record for graduate enrollment; 600 students are pursuing master’s degrees in accountancy, business administration, computer science, engineering, Christian ministry, divinity, or theological studies.
This was OC’s fifth straight year of record enrollment. The top 12 enrollment totals in OC history have come in the last 12 years.
“With our commitment to affordability and the addition of even more first-class academic programs to serve students, OC has become a destination point for students and families seeking an unmatched educational experience,” President John deSteiguer said.
Oklahoma Christian had seven National Merit Scholars in this year’s freshman class and 35 overall, a per capita percentage that ranks among the state’s leaders. OC’s student body comes from 43 states and 49 countries.
