OC Appoints New Trustees
Oklahoma Christian recently named Dr. David Duncan and Michelle (Alcon) Eggleston to its Board of Trustees. OC’s board now includes 35 active members and 13 life trustees.
“We continue to add talented and dedicated men and women to the Board of Trustees who will be in a position to guide the school into the next generation,” OC board chair Don Millican said. “We are blessed to have Michelle and David join us in this great endeavor.”
Duncan has been the pulpit minister at Memorial Church of Christ in Houston, Texas, since 2006. He served as the outreach minister at Edmond Church of Christ and as an adjunct instructor at Oklahoma Christian University for seven years.
Duncan earned a B.A. in Bible in 1988 and an M.A. in Ministry in 1991 from Oklahoma Christian. He received his D.Min. from the Houston Graduate School of Theology in 2010. His wife Barbara is a 1989 OC graduate.
Eggleston is a shareholder and attorney for Eggleston & Eggleston in Amarillo, Texas. She practices general business and corporate law, as well as estate planning.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry appointed her to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors in 2001. She currently serves as vice chairman of the board and as chair of the Rules Ad Hoc Committee. Eggleston graduated from Oklahoma Christian with a bachelor’s degree in business management in 1986. Her husband Jeff is a 1988 OC graduate.
