Men's Cross Country Places 2nd at National Meet
All-Americans Bryant Keirns, Sisay Gillock, and Evan Durrill led the OC men’s cross country team to a runner-up finish at the NCCAA Championship in November.
It was the Eagles’ fourth straight top-four finish at a national meet, highlighted by national championships in 2011 (NAIA) and 2012 (NCCAA).
Keirns finished second individually to earn All-America status for the second straight year. Gillock, the Heartland Conference freshman of the year, placed eighth while Durrill finished 15th.
Keirns earned Capital One Academic All-District honors from CoSIDA and joined Nathan Giles, Brennym Kaelin, and Timothy Zuercher as NCCAA Scholar-Athletes.
