Ethics Team places in national top 10
Oklahoma Christian won its fifth straight state title on the way to a 10th-place finish at the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl. OC has placed in the national top 10 in three of the past four years.
OC’s team swept all of its matches at the state and regional tournaments before going 2-1 at nationals, defeating Millikan University and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas before losing to the U.S. Military Academy, the eventual champion.
“Ethics is the favorite part of my job,” said Dr. Jeff Simmons (90), team sponsor and the dean of OC’s College of Business Administration. “I’m always so thoroughly impressed by the students because they do a phenomenal job, and they even challenge me. It’s an honor to work with them.”
