Oklahoma Long Term Care Professionals Attend Leadership Academy at OC

Oklahoma Christian University in partnership with Care Providers Oklahoma today kicked off the third annual Long Term Care Leadership Academy. Enrollees will take in-person seminars and participate in online coaching sessions on topics that include “principles of authentic leadership,” “effective communication,” and “leadership and ethics.”

Participants are current or aspiring managers and administrators in the long term care profession who apply to the program in a competitive application process. They can earn credit through the Leadership Academy for undergraduate or graduate degrees through OC’s College of Outreach and Innovation.

Ultimately, the beneficiaries of this training will be long term care residents who experience better outcomes and service in their homes.”
