OC Launches Leadership Summit Featuring Author Jon Gordon, Four-Time Olympian Chaunté Lowe

Oklahoma Christian University (OC) will host its inaugural Leadership Summit on Oct. 12. The event brings nationally known voices — bestselling author and speaker Jon Gordon, four-time Olympian Chaunté Lowe and OC President Dr. Ken Jones — to OC's campus for a day of growth rooted in character, faith and purpose.

Programming targets business, ministry and civic sectors, as well as athletes, coaches and the general public.

"Kingdom impact starts with leadership that's rooted in something bigger than ourselves," said Dr. Ken Jones, President of Oklahoma Christian University. "Our inaugural summit is about bringing conviction to life and we hope to welcome folks from all walks of life to learn and grow together. We're honored to welcome Jon Gordon and Chaunté Lowe to our campus."

Jon Gordon is a 19x bestselling author and speaker on leadership, culture and teamwork. His books, including The Energy Bus, The Power of Positive Leadership, and The Carpenter have shaped how leaders and teams around the world enhance their performance, impact and growth.

Chaunté Lowe's story is one of determination, perseverance and strength. She is a renowned motivational speaker, wife and a mother of three. She is also a professional athlete, an American record holder, a four-time Olympian, a three-time World Championship medalist and an Olympic medalist.

The summit comprises two parts: a conference-style morning session that requires registration, and an evening lecture at OC's Baugh Auditorium that is free and open to the public.
