Alum says he was better prepared than his professional peers

“I’ve worked with designers that have graduated from some of the best design schools in the country – Maryland Institute College of Art, School of Visual Arts (NYC), Ringling College of Art+Design and Savanah College of Art+Design. The education I received in Graphic Design at OC was on par with those schools, and I believe actually better prepared me for the real world,” said Goad.

Taylor graduated from OC with a BFA in Graphic Design and started his career in Oklahoma City with Funnel Design Group and FoundryCo. It didn’t take long for him to land a position at Gardner Design in Wichita and from there to 160over90 in Philadelphia. Today he and his wife, Kate, reside in San Francisco where he has worked for Pearlfisher, CBA, MINE and Hatch.

Some of Taylor's notable clients have been General Mills, Taco Bell, Nestle, Haagen-Dazs, Coffee-Mate, Google, Philadelphia Eagles, Chevy and Progressive Insurance. Did we skip over the Williams Sonoma package design? Let's just sprinkle a little holiday cheer right here. Yum.
