OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 23, 2012) – Josh Rosecrans has left his position as an assistant baseball coach at Oklahoma Christian to take an assistant’s job at junior-college power Grayson (Texas), OC head coach Lonny Cobble said.
Rosecrans, who played for Cobble at Edmond Santa Fe High School, had joined the OC staff in August. Rosecrans, 23, started his collegiate playing career at Wichita State, then transferred to Grayson – located in Denison, Texas – before finishing at Alabama.
“It’s a sign of the quality of assistants in our program that other people want them, too,” Cobble said. “I’m happy for Josh and I wish him the best at Grayson. I know he’ll do a great job there.”
Cobble still has four assistant coaches on his staff – Andrew McGuire, Chance Stevens, Manny Cervantes and Ty Weeden.
