Oklahoma Christian University (OC) released student census data for its fall 2024 First Time College (FTC) students revealing a 30 percent increase over the last year.

“We are grateful for the diligent work of our campus community to bring even more students to Oklahoma Christian University this academic year,” OC President Dr. Ken Jones said. “Our university continues to transform lives for the better, while providing a rigorous and dynamic Christian education for tomorrow’s leaders. We look forward to building on this momentum and fostering a Kingdom University, where every student has the opportunity to thrive.”

Jones credits the OC faculty and staff for its focus connecting students to their callings and providing career-readiness opportunities to prospective and current students.

“We have been blessed with wonderful growth this past year, and it’s been a privilege to work with an incredible team to share our university’s purpose with so many students and families,” OC Executive Director of Admissions Amy Roberts said. “Part of our successful recruitment strategy highlights that attending OC offers students substantial academic growth, a caring community and encouragement to deepen their faith. Our students leave OC prepared for future careers, post graduate degrees and a higher calling to use their talents to help others.”

OC continues to pursue excellence across disciplines, offering nationally ranked programs and athletics and an inviting, positive campus culture.
