Peter Patton Ph.D.

Peter C. Patton earned the BA degree in Engineering and Applied Physics at Harvard in 1957, an MA in Mathematics at the University of Kansas in 1959, and the Dr, Ing. degree in Aerospace Engineering Summa cum Laude at the Technical University of Stuttgart in 1966. He taught his first college course in 1957 and has taught as a faculty member at the University of Kansas, the University of Paris, the University of Stuttgart, the University of Minnesota, the University of Pennsylvania, St. Thomas University, St. Mary’s University, and Oklahoma Christian University.

He has served as guest lecturer at Beijing University and Fudan University in China and practiced and taught engineering as a green card holder in Switzerland, France, England, and Germany. Dr. Patton is the author of sixteen books or book length chapters on computer hardware and software architecture, and computer applications, primarily to the dynamics of structures. He has participated in the founding of five startups for computer hardware and software development. His hobby is the application of computer technology to the study of ancient languages and literature.

Dr.Patton is the father of five, grandfather of sixteen, and great grandfather of three. He has served as an adult Bible teacher and occasional preacher in the mission field in Europe, and in Minnesota and Wisconsin, since 1959.
