Miho Fisher

Piano Accompanist

Miho Fisher is a collaborative pianist from Japan, serving as a full-time staff piano accompanist at Oklahoma Christian University since 2014. She studied at University of North Texas and University of Central Oklahoma and completed Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance. She was a prize winner of 2004 Van Cliburn IPCOA competition, and she has been an active performer of both solo and chamber music, appearing in UCO's Faculty Artist Concert Series, CollabFest at UNT, among others.

At OC, Miho accompanies OC choirs, student musicians and opera scenes, and plays with various ensembles when the piano-needs arise. She enjoys working with students and helping them grow through sharing her love of music-making. She is a pianist for Oklahoma Community Orchestra, a member of woodwind and piano quartet Eclipse, and serves as a company pianist at Oklahoma City Ballet. She teaches piano as an adjunct faculty as well as privately, and she runs a summer music program at the Center of Family Love, a residential facility for adults with developmental disability. Miho is a member of the International Keyboard Collaborative Arts Society.
