Jessica Colls Ph.D.

Dr. Jessica Colls is the current OC MFT Program Director. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist in both Oklahoma and Arkansas and American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Approved Supervisor. She obtained her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma Baptist University before completing her PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy with a Systemic Studies emphasis from the University of Louisiana Monroe. Dr. Colls’ research focuses on Native American generational trauma and Contextual theory. Since 2016, Dr. Colls has been teaching in higher education at other private institutions such as Oklahoma Baptist University, California Baptist University, and MidAmerica Christian University. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings in addition to teaching, such as private and group practice, faith-based, outpatient, and residential settings.
