Elaine Kelly M.B.A., C.P.A.

Associate Professor of Accounting

Prior to coming to OC, Elaine D. Kelly worked in auditing and income taxes in public accounting at both KPMG and Seidman, and was an Audit and Tax Manager at the Oklahoma Publishing Company. She has taught at OC for more than 27 years, and is interested in promoting strong ethical standards in business. She works at OC because she enjoys the Christian atmosphere and fellowship. Elaine received the Gaylord Chair of Distinguished Teaching for 1999-2000, the Merrick Award for teaching excellence for 2001-2002, and the Faculty Leadership Award for 2014-2015. She is presently the J.J. Millican Chair in Accounting. Elaine is the scholarship and schedule coordinator for OC's College of Business and is the past President of the OC Faculty Association for 2009-2010.

Elaine is also the past President of Shepherd's Hill International, a nonprofit that works to provide resources to make substantial and sustainable opportunities to help the people in and surrounding Arapal Christian Camp on the island of Cebu in the Philippines. Projects for SHI include livelihood, Christian education, spiritual ministries, and financial and medical assistance.

She is married to Dennis, who is a CPA, and has three children: Denise, Allison and Kelsey. Denise attends WINGS, a special education community. Allison, a 2007 music education graduate from OC, and her husband Ryan, a 2006 graduate from OC, have three children, Lylah, Andrew and Harper. Kelsey, a 2009 family studies graduate from OC, and her husband, Brice, a 2009 finance graduate from Harding University, have two children, Griffin and Vivian. Dennis, Elaine, and Denise attend Memorial Road Church of Christ where Elaine is involved in the finance ministry.
