Christy Hallock M.S.N.

Christy has been a nurse since 2008. She is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University’s first nursing class of 2008. She has worked at Children’s Hospital in downtown Oklahoma City on the Pediatric Surgical Unit. She credits the present nursing faculty for growing her into the nurse and servant leader she has become and feels honored to now be colleagues with them. The Oklahoma Christian University Nursing Program cultivated a sense of life-long learning into Christy’s career and she graduated with her Master’s Degree from The University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 2013. “Being back at OC as an alum is unique and being back here as faculty is a blessing because I am getting to impact the field of nursing by helping create and cultivate nurses that have the ability to impact the profession in big ways”. Christy lives in Oklahoma City with her husband David, also an OC alum, and their son and daughter. The Hallock family attends the Oakcrest Church of Christ.
