Global Reunion 2020
Global Reunion unites Third Culture Kids (TCKs) and Third Culture Adults (TCAs) from all over the world. During Global Reunion campers develop tools for ReEntry as well as skills for cross cultural living.

To our Global Reunion 2020 family:
Many hours of conversation and planning have already taken place in preparation for GR 2020. However, COVID-19 has forced Global Reunion organizers to consider:
- the global nature of our camp: our participants come from all over the world where travel restrictions may be in place when they are planning to come
- the feeding of our campers: most of the food provided for our large group of campers is brought in by volunteers. Volunteers are being affected in extensive ways.
- the structure of the camp: participants share dorm rooms for accommodation. It is impossible to guarantee a virus-free environment, especially when participants come from countries around the world that have varying restrictions for interaction.
- the possibility of resurgence of the virus around the time of Global Reunion: even if normal life resumes in several weeks, there are predictions that there will be second wave. We have no way of knowing when it might hit.
We think it best to cancel this year's camp in view of the above considerations.
We would like you to know that InterMission will offer a Reentry InterMission on September 11-12. This event is free of charge and is offered for missionary families who are in transition. You can register now for the September. Reentry Event at www.intermissionministry.org. If you are interested and would like to know more, you can contact Nancy.Hartman@oc.edu
