Student helps protect family from Covid-19
On top of her work as an OC student Gaming and Animation major, Morgan Lane has been working on sewing masks to support healthcare workers in Oklahoma City.
"She is an avid costume maker, and builds designs based off of her favorite shows and video games," said gaming instructor Ellie Kirkner. "Her costume designs have been shown at local conventions, including last year’s MiracleCon charity gaming convention."
Lane has a personal connection and heart to use her talents to make masks that will help during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I have a mother and cousin working on the frontlines in hospitals and know the need for health workers and families at this time," said Lane. "I’ve always been a crafter so I wanted to use what I could to provide as much help as possible. Even the smallest gifts can have a great impact.”
