Athletes Reflect on Lost Seasons
Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations Murray Evans is capturing the emotions and effects of losing an athletic season due to a global pandemic. A series titled Eagle Voices collects first-person stories from OC athletes. These heart-of-a-champion students worked hard, built a season with sites set on wins and ranks, that may impact their future careers, and saw years of practice and development suddenly end.
No one trained for this, but athletes are well-versed in overcoming challenges. Read and share their stories.
Athletes make up a sizable percentage of the student body, and they are a highly valued part of the OC community. These Eagle Voices deserve to be heard and understood because Eagles fly together!
