Alumni Update - Murray Evans

Murray Evans ('89), OC's assistant athletic director for communications/sports information director, was appointed chairman of the Lone Star Conference's sports information directors' advisory group. Last August, Evans was elected as the group's vice chairman and moved into the chairman role on August 4, 2021, during an annual meeting of the league's SIDs, conducted via Zoom. Evans will serve a two-year term, and his responsibilities will include helping prepare the agenda for, as well as occasionally leading, its monthly meeting and providing relevant information and updates from the group to the LSC's Council of Athletics Administrators and conference office.
