Alumni Update - Lisa Hubbert

Lisa (Curl '00) Hubbert has been in education for 16+ years. Prior, as a special education teacher in middle school. After completing the required graduate work, Lisa became a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and has served the children of OKCPS for over 10 years. Lisa was promoted to oversee all play evaluations of two-year-olds for OKCPS, coordinated with Oklahoma SoonerStart, in the hopes of improving outcomes and compliance for the state. In the three years since Lisa took over, OKCPS has had 100% compliance with legalities of the SoonerStart-to-school transition, which means better services to our most vulnerable learners. She has received the OKCPS Award of Excellence in Special Education twice and was selected by the state among 14 other school psychologists as an OSDE Mentor.
