Alumni Update - Kayla Carlsward

Kayla Carlsward (Eichler '19), a standout hitter for OC's softball team that won the 2019 Heartland Conference title, was named the Head Softball Coach for Edmond Memorial High School (EMHS). Her appointment was made official on Monday by the Edmond Public Schools Board of Education. Carlsward will take over a program that has become one of the best in OK Class 6A. During her three seasons as assistant coach at EMHS, the team went 88-21 with three trips to the state tournament, including a 6A fast-pitch title in fall 2019.
