Alumni Update - Jessica Hoover

Jessica Hoover (Moor-Ortman '10) recently became Vice President of Operations for Mercy. Before taking her current role as VP of Operations for Oklahoma City Mercy Hospitals, she grew through the Carter Healthcare organization into Chief Operating Officer. When asked how OC impacted her faith and prepared her for her career, she said: "I had so many meaningful life experiences at OC that shaped my heart, mind and soul. From competing on one of OC's all-time best soccer teams to studying abroad in Vienna, and volunteer work in Ghana, these all played a part in laying the groundwork for my calling in the business of healthcare. My mission is to serve people's hearts, minds and souls, and faith and healthcare are very similar, actually, in the sense that they both exist to care for the whole person, not just the broken parts."
