Alumni Update - Dr. Jeanetta Sims

Dr. Jeanetta Sims ('93) was recently named a DaVinci Fellow by The DaVinci Institute, Oklahoma's Creativity Think Tank. Dr. Sims is the dean of the University of Central Oklahoma Jackson College of Graduate Studies. The award recognizes higher education faculty whose accomplishments have made a major contribution to their academic disciplines. Sims is recognized for her efforts in developing an interdisciplinary, student research program called Diverse Student Scholars. She will receive a grant to apply toward the project titled, "Maximizing Diverse Student Scholars to Build an Undergraduate Research Viral Ecosystem."
