Alumni Update - Elise Miller

Elise Miller ('20) is one of six University of Oklahoma Law students who have been awarded the prestigious Justice John Paul Stevens Public Interest Fellowship. She will receive $6,000 for summer public interest work in an underserved community. Established by Justice Stevens' former law clerks, the John Paul Stevens Foundation promotes public interest and social justice values in tomorrow's lawyers by funding summer public interest fellowships at law schools nationwide. Miller will be working with Still She Rises this summer. Still She Rises is the first holistic defense office in the country dedicated exclusively to the representation of mothers in both the criminal and civil legal systems.
