Alumni Update - Dr. Ron Bruner

Dr. Ron Bruner ('77) received the Pat Potts Visionary Award at The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits 2022 Visions Awards ceremony on November 29th. Visions chair Jessica Gilmore stated that this award "goes to an individual executive leader who has inspired the success of their organization." She said that Bruner is being honored "for his mentoring and teaching of young people and for his dedication to transforming the lives of families throughout Oklahoma." Bruner is the executive director of Westview Boys' Home, a position he has held for 23 years. Westview Boys' Home provides shelter, security, education, and guidance to young men in need. Each young man is worked with individually to create and tailor a care program designed to meet their specific needs. You can read more here.
