Alumni Update - Brenda Gordon

Brenda Gordon (Parker '81) was recently honored with the 2023 Children's Ministry Award at the National Children's and Youth Ministries (NCYM) conference in Colorado Springs. Gordon has spent almost 20 years as the children's ministry director for the Edmond Church of Christ. Prior to this, she taught in public school for 21 years. Jahnnette Brandt, children's ministry director for the MacArthur Park Church of Christ in San Antonio nominated Gordon for this award. Brandt stated "This lady doesn't just minister to the littles at church. She helps mentor all the young adults who are considering children's ministry."
