Father and son duo Bobby Ross Jr. ('90) and Keaton Ross ('20) won multiple awards at the 2022 Oklahoma Society of Professional Journalists annual awards (pictured from left to right - Bobby Ross Jr., Keaton Ross, and Keaton's fiancée Paige Steeley ['20]). Bobby Ross Jr. placed in five categories, including first place in the election reporting category (along with Hamil Harris and Cheryl Mann Bacon) for their Christian Chronicle article "Flags, faith and fury," first place in spot news reporting for his Christian Chronicle Article "Christians offer physical, spiritual help after historic flooding," and first place in sports features for his Christian Chronicle article "All in the family: baseball and Jesus." Keaton Ross is an investigative reporter for Oklahoma Watch and won first place in criminal justice reporting for his story "They don't vote, but they do count: How the incarcerated skew political representation in Oklahoma."
