Alumni Update - Amber Davis

Amber Davis (Nelson '96) was named Innovative Teacher of the Week by News 9 on May 2, 2022. Davis is an occupational therapist with Deer Creek Public Schools. An example of her innovation was when she recognized the struggles of one of her students and recommended using snap type for him. Snap type is an app that is used to assist students who struggle with their penmanship. You can read more about Davis and her recognition here.
