OC Baja: Who We Are
Who We Are
The Oklahoma Christian Baja Racing Team is a student-run competition team housed within the College of Engineering. Every year our senior mechanical engineering students design and manufacture an entirely new off-road racing vehicle from scratch. Team members work from within the Prince Engineering Building for a 3-semester-long capstone project to design, machine parts, fabricate, install, and assemble the new car. Efforts are repeated for every graduating class with hopes of building on the previous years’ success.
2023 – 2024 Baja Team “8‑Mile”
The 2023-2024 Baja team, "8-Mile", divided their workload and efforts by incorporating the Scrum method of organizing their team. The scrum methodology is a management framework that teams use to self-organize and work towards a common goal.
