  1. Attempted 15 or more semester hours of college-level credit after graduating from high school
  2. A minimum of a 2.0 cumulative college GPA
  3. Be eligible to return to any college or university you have previously attended

Transfer Application Steps

Start by filling out an application for admission. It is short & simple. Not to mention... it is free! Complete one here!

If you have earned more than 15 credit hours (after high school graduation), we will need:

  • An official transcript from each college attended reporting all classes attempted for each semester enrolled.

Transcripts must be sent directly from the institution to the OC Admissions Records Office either electronically or by mail:

Please note: Coursework from one college posted on the transcript of another is not acceptable. College transcript(s) for dual/college credit earned in high school must be submitted for possible credit.

Currently enrolled in another school and don’t have access to an official transcript? Please upload your unofficial transcript to your application account or email it to admissions.records@oc.edu. We can accept and continue the admissions process with an unofficial transcript, however, official transcripts from every previous institution you have attended must be submitted to OC before the first day of classes.

Before each year of college, apply for federal grants, work-study, and loans with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Be sure to enter OC’s FAFSA code, 003165, so your information will be sent to us. OC uses your FAFSA data to determine your federal aid eligibility.

After You Are Admitted…

Once you have decided you are ready to make OC home, take the next step by submitting your enrollment deposit. The enrollment deposit is a $250 deposit payment that is applied to your OC account. After you submit your deposit, you will…

  • Reserve your place as a transfer student starting at OC
  • Have access to the housing application
  • Get to enroll in classes at the earliest possible time, which gives you the best chance to have the exact class schedule you want
  • Be able to sign up for orientation

OC offers several housing options for transfer students. Housing placement depends on the number of completed credits and age. Space is limited and it’s first come, first serve. So submit your application ASAP! View our housing options here.

Have questions? Contact housing at housing@oc.edu or by phone at 405.425.5930.

Welcome home new Eagles!

You're not going to want to miss this one-day Take Flight event designed for all new students - freshmen and transfers - that’s YOU! (parents are more than welcome to attend). You will cover all of the business of college from meeting with academic advisers, confirming your course schedule, learning about campus resources, meeting other new students, and getting answers to all of your OC questions.

It’s time for you to soar. Earn Your Wings is for all new students (freshmen and transfers) starting in the fall semester. Your orientation week begins the week before classes start and is where you learn what it means to be an Eagle. It will be filled with getting to know your fellow classmates with one crazy-themed activity after the next, serving the community on Kite Day, learning OC’s history and becoming a part of it, enjoying some quality entertainment and implementing daily habits of worship.
