Use what you’ve learned in nursing to heal, practice your Spanish as a translator or implement an engineering project in Catacamas, Honduras with HonduraServe. You will experience two weeks of God working in, through and around you in a missional and practical way.

Cost of Honduraserve

$3,300 for 2 weeks, a $250 nonrefundable deposit is due upon approval

Travel costs are always estimates that can change based on group size and changing ticket/travel expenses. The final cost will be determined in April.

Students may raise up to the full amount in mission funds. Sometimes financial aid and scholarships apply. Talk to your financial counselor about your specific financial plan.

Expenses not included in the program cost are phone service, passport, physical exam, immunizations, malaria medication and money for personal items.

Require­ments

Completed one year of college by the time of participation. Apply in the fall of the year prior to travel. Freshmen are eligible to apply. Space is limited with priority given to Nursing majors enrolled in Healthcare and Missions. Students need to have:

  • Cumulative gpa of 2.5
  • Approval from Student Life & Financial Services
  • 3 recommendations regarding your character, reliability & suitability
  • Interview
