Capitol of Cute
Kawaii is Japan's culture of cuteness. It is adorable and it is everywhere from food to advertisements. Alongside cute is karaoke, anime, themed restaurants, 3D models and grown-up game halls that make Japan one very cool country. Spend four weeks in this cute and cool country with a Japanese family while attending classes at Ibaraki Christian University. Then travel to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima.

Gaming Students Just Fit In
“I have sponsored Vienna and Asian studies before, and this was a different sort of group because we only travelled as a full group to Japan. Many were Gaming & Animation majors. These students just fit in there because they were so engaged in the Japanese gaming culture. Student's favorite part were the homestays. It is a fabulous opportunity for full immersion into Japanese culture.
Visiting Hiroshima is difficult to describe. Standing in the place where that explosion happened so many years ago, in all of my travels, this has been the memory that stands out. I will always remember.”
