Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.)

30 Hours*

A graduate of the Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.) degree will be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to critically examine and manage contemporary challenges of the engineering profession, including professional ethics, diversity, and globalization
  • Ethical awareness and decision making relative to contemporary engineering practice.
  • Awareness and respect for diversity and global issues.
  • That they are broadly equipped to both contribute to and lead multidisciplinary engineering projects.
  • Appropriate solution strategies.
  • The ability to perform mature technical assessment and evaluation.
  • Scholarship with depth beyond the B.S. degree with the students’ chosen field of specialization.
  • The ability to perform individual research.
  • The ability to communicate in appropriate scholarly forms for the discipline.

*Students without a previous degree in engineering may need three or more hours of leveling.
