What You Need to Advance Your Degree

Graduate Certificates

Perfect for students who want to continue learning after completing a bachelor's degree, professionals who have taken on new responsibilities and master's degreed individuals who want to strengthen a speciality or even make a career pivot. Graduate certificates can be a gateway to a master's program for less commitment of time and money. Applying is easy! You will need:

  • A cumulative GPA of 2.5, required for admission to a Graduate Certificate Program
  • An official transcript from the college or university that granted your bachelor's degree

*International students with an F-1 Visa are not currently eligible for non-degree certificate programs. Other US Visa types and students outside the US are encouraged to apply, email questions to Stony Kalango.

Master's Degrees

Students from all academic disciplines are invited to apply to OC’s graduate business programs, provided you hold a bachelors’ degree from a regionally-accredited college or university, or you are currently enrolled in your last semester of college.

  • A cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required for admission for the MBA Program
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required for admission for the MAcc Program plus 30 hours of accounting, three hours each in finance, macroeconomics and microeconomics.
  • A cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required for admission for the MSPM Program.

To apply to Oklahoma Christian University’s Graduate School of Business, complete the following admissions process:

  1. Apply online
  2. Email the following admissions requirements to admissions.records@oc.edu:
    1. Official transcripts from the college or university that granted your bachelor’s degree.

    2. GRE or GMAT exam scores, but only if you do not have any of the following:

      * An undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or higher
      * An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher AND at least five years of verifiable experience
      * At least nine credit hours of "B" or better graduate work from an accredited university

      Students who do need to submit scores need to do so from one of these two exams. Exams must have been taken within the past five years.

      ** GMAT score of 450 or higher
      ** GRE score of 285 or higher, with a 3.0 writing component

Should students making satisfactory progress toward the degree have to drop out of the program, they may re-enter at a later date. The degree must be completed within seven years.

International Applicants

International applicants are welcome to apply to Oklahoma Christian University’s Graduate School of Business. Complete the following admissions process:

1. Complete an online application at www.oc.edu/apply

2. Email the following admissions requirements to admissions.records@oc.edu:

Official transcripts from the college or university that granted your bachelor’s degree.

  • Transcripts must be in English
  • A cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required for admission
  • Note: Unofficial transcripts may be emailed for admissions purposes, but official transcripts must be submitted to OC upon admission. Official transcripts may be mailed or brought to:

Comprehensive Course-by-Course Evaluation of transcript which show degrees earned outside the United States.

These transcript evaluation companies are approved:

  • World Educational Services
  • ECE
  • Global Evaluators

Minimum English Proficiency

  • Students whose first language is not English must submit proof of English proficiency.

OC accepts the following English proficiency tests and minimum scores:

  • 79 TOEFL iBT
  • 6.5 IELTS
  • 58 PTE
  • 120 Duolingo

Financial Documentation

Financial Documentation is required by OC and by U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS).

Cost of Program

  • The cost of the MBA or MAcc program for an international student is is $620 per credit hour.
  • The cost of the MSPM program for an international student is is $630 per credit hour.
  • Fees include: $25 per credit hour fee for any online courses taken, $40 finance lab fee, and $100 graduation fee.

Statement of Understanding

A signed Statement of Understanding, detailing expectations for international students at OC.

Immigration Documents

Copies of the following:

  • Passport photo page
  • Visa page
  • I-94 card (front and back)
  • Copies of all I-20’s

SEVIS Transfer Release Form

International students transferring from another U.S. educational institution must request that their current institution complete the SEVIS Transfer Release Form and have it sent to OC’s Office of International Programs.

Enrollment

International students must maintain full-time enrollment (at least 9 hours) as required by the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS) to maintain student status.
