The selection process
Students completed an application for the HEERF Grant, providing any documentation available that illustrated need. The Financial Aid Office reviewed their federal aid eligibility based on stated need. For HEERF II & HEERF III, student recipients chose if they wanted to apply the grant as a payment to their student account. All HEERF grants not applied to student accounts were paid directly to students via check or direct deposit. OC had approximately 2,500 students eligible for application.
