Meet the Dean of Students

Neil Arter is Dean of Students at Oklahoma Christian. He has worked in other positions on campus for a total of 15 years. In 1990 Neil graduated from OC with a degree in Mass Communication: Radio/TV. Years later in 2001 he graduated with his MBA in Leadership and Organization. Through his years at Oklahoma Christian he has “learned a great deal of respect for the capabilities of students at OC.” Neil and his wife Joni have two daughters, Paige and Gina. If everything goes as planned Paige and Gina will be arriving at OC some time after Neil is no longer in charge of discipline and the modesty expectation. |

Jeff Bennett. I wear 2 hats at OC: Associate Dean of Students and Assistant Track and Field Coach. Both of my daughters graduated from OC. I graduated from OCC in 1970 and really enjoy working at my alma mater. |

Hi my name is Amanda Watson. I am the Chapel Secretary. I help with chapel preparations and all of your chapel needs and questions. I hope to make chapel at Oklahoma Christian a wonderful expereince each and every day. Oh and one more thing, don't think you have the best chapel excuse in the book...because you don't. I have heard them all! I graduated from OC in April 2005 with a degree in Liberal Studies. I got married in May to my husband Luke. If you are ever looking for me, my office is in the Student Life Office and my desk is right under the rather large clock on the back wall. |

Hi my name is Amy Janzen. I am the Director of Freshman Experience and Disability Coordinator. Freshman Expereience will be organized with lots of activities for you this year. I look forward to meeting you if I haven't already. I graduated from OC in 1998 with a degree in Communication. This past summer, I finished my Master's in Liberal Studies at OU. My hobbies used to include traveling and other outdoor activiites. Now most of my free time is spent entertaining my daughter, but it is all worth it! |

Welcome to the Student Life office. My name is Amy Kelly and I am the Associate Director of Freshman Experience and serve as a freshmen counselor. I am over all the freshmen women on campus and I absolutely adore ministering and guiding these ladies through their first year of college. I graduated from Oklahoma Christian in 2004 with a degree is Business Administration. I then continued my education in 2007 and received my MBA in Leadership and Organization. I have loved my time at Oklahoma Christian both as a student and employee and strive to make the experience students have at OC to be a wonderful as my experience. |

My name is Rick Judd. I am the Intramural Sports Director. I am from Del City, Oklahoma. I am married to Sara (Swindle). We have a beautiful daughter, Hope. |
Faculty Facts
Don Leftwich is the chair of the Department of Mathematical, Computer, and Information Sciences. He was the Oklahoma-Arkansas section chair of the Mathematical Association of America in 2001. He is interested in statics of aviation, and he enjoys golf, music, and all sports.
