Track teams placed third at conference meet
Landon Huslig won the men’s 400-meter hurdles and Alexus Woolly took top honors in the women’s discus as Oklahoma Christian placed third in both the men’s and women’s standings at the Great American Conference Track and Field Championships.
OC competes in the GAC in track and field and in the Heartland Conference in all other sports.
After the season, Huslig and Austin Wallace received outdoor All-Region honors from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Seniors Brennym Kaelin and Bryant Keirns, junior Ryan Lutterloh and sophomore Sisay Gillock all were named to the Academic All-District 6 first-team list for track and field and cross country, as chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
