Mail Room Policy
- Students are assigned mailboxes by the computer with completing registration. The class enrollment printout will include the student's box # and combination. It is also online under my.oc.edu.
- Most students will have to share a mailbox with another student. Therefore, please do not address mail to a box# only or to a nickname - please use the whole name.
- Certified or register mail is recommended for plane tickets, legal documents, and other items of importance that the post office can trace if necessary. Students must sign for and show an ID to receive these items.
- Large envelopes (that cannot fit into mailboxes) and packages must be signed by the student.
- Large envelopes that should not be bent or rolled (such as those containing pictures) should be labeled: DO NOT BEND
